I'm a creative professional by occupation but I have been deeply interested in living sustainably and creating a better space around myself since 2017. Watching Lauren Singer's video on 'How I Fit A Year's Worth of Trash in One Mason Jar' changed my life and gave me the initial push to carefully look at my waste generation over the years. I have spent the last four years researching and understanding sustainable living, waste management practices and plastic pollution. While I don't believe that I am an expert in the domain, I do come from a place of some knowledge that allows me to take an active part in dialogues surrounding this area.
