Having operated in Asia for more than 25 years, we’ve seen climate change unfold before our eyes and recognize the very real threat it poses to our region and the world. In recognition of the threats that climate change poses, we've pioneered and implemented numerous efforts to help fight it. Our Climate Action Plan helps us monitor, evaluate and improve our environmental impact, through this action plan;
WE MEASURE : UNDERSTANDING OUR IMPACTS ON THE CLIMATE
WE REDUCE: TAKING ACTION FOR THE CLIMATE
WE COMPENSATE: TAKING ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE CLIMATE
WE COLLABORATE: DRIVING POSITIVE CHANGE FOR THE CLIMATE
For each part, bold ambitions are set and will be publicly reported on in the coming years. We are proud to become signatory to the Glasgow Declaration, which is fully aligned with our own commitment.
"We are witnessing the adverse effects of the Climate crisis on our destinations, we realize that a huge challenge stands ahead of us. We need to engage our whole industry to design efficient solutions tackling the multi-faceted consequences of this existential crisis. Environmental damages have a massive impact on the livelihood of indigenous communities, we aim to play our part and to make a positive difference where and when it is the most needed."
