MVO Nederland

MVO Nederland aims to create a movement with entrepreneurs to reach the tipping point towards a new economy which is climate-neutral, circular, inclusive and has fair trade chains. MVO Nederland has developed a network of partners who innovate and implement with each other in order to attain these objectives.
 
Global Tourism Plastics Initiative Signatory
MVO Nederland has also initiated the International Tourism Plastic Pledge. This initiative motivates the Dutch tourism sector to reduce plastic pollution at holiday destinations worldwide. To support their 200 signatories, they organise a series of online events each year to share knowledge and good examples.

In the framework of the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative, MVO Nederland commits to:

  • Organising a series of online event in which knowledge and good examples related to plastics pollution are shared
  • Encouraging the 200+ MOV Nederland signatories to also become signatories of the Global Tourism Plastic Initiative 
  • Communicating to members success stories, knowledge products related to plastic pollution to better educate
  • Reporting publicly annually on progress made in the implementation of the Initiative
