Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Foundation

Role in programme(s):

Commitments:

Operating in a Small Island Developing State, climate change is an existential threat and we as a small NGO see the extreme urgency of implementing climate actions. Seychelles, like most other SIDS, is highly dependent on long-haul tourism for economic recovery and development. It is because this industry is so economically important to us, and because it happens to be very cross-sectoral, that it should lead by example and ensure that the climate agenda is pushed forward. We will do our part by further strengthening our advocacy and education work among tourism stakeholders in Seychelles.
